Built in 2001, at the initiative of a great female entrepreneur from Conil (THANK YOU, Tatín, wherever you are), La Jábega is a point of reference for family tourist accommodation throughout the province of Cadiz.
Its name comes from an ancient fishing method, because the first La Jábega host grew up at the heart of a fishing family, and the project was designed in keeping with the roots and culture of her land: Andalusia

Apartments and rooms with charm

There is a unique atmosphere at La Jábega that makes an impression on all who visit it. Its spotless white façade, its windows and balconies, and the ironwork at the entrance are all eye-catching, but what really makes passers-by exclaim “Oh, wow!” is our wonderful Andalusian patio brimming with life and flowers, where you will always be welcome and which provides a fabulous backdrop for photos of your time in Conil.

Since our family has been managing the apartments, we have implemented a series of changes and improvements, but always retaining this emblematic place’s essence of uniqueness. You will find little touches here that add great value, such as hand-painted tiles, wooden ceilings, handmade pottery, wrought iron, hand-carved wooden furniture, and more. It all helps create a warm, pleasant atmosphere that will make you feel right at home as you enjoy the congenial atmosphere promoted by the personal, friendly service.

Our roof terrace is the space to perfectly complement your stay in a La Jabéga apartment or room. Adapted for your enjoyment, you can make out Los Caños de Meca from there, and even Morocco, weather permitting, and sunbathe or shelter in the shade and, of course, we recommend that you have breakfast with us! We serve a delicious breakfast made with loving care from local produce so that the experience of staying with us will be even more authentic and enriching. It’s another sign of how much we care about you and your well-being
